Your pathway after school

Post-18 Pathway

The Sixth Form PEP Guide is a booklet which we have put together to provide students with information, advice and guidance to help make informed decisions about some of the opportunities on offer once they leave school.

On Thursday 27th June we held a Post Eighteen Pathway day for Y12 students.

The event included presentations from Universities and Leeds City Council, and the students participated in workshops where they started the process of applying to University and exploring other pathways including apprenticeships.

In the afternoon we hosted a panel of industry experts from the digital tech sector. The students were extremely engaged and it was great to see their enthusiasm around increasing their awareness of this exciting area of employment.

The students should now be progressing with applications for their chosen pathway; many have visited universities and researched a variety of options. It is important that this work starts to come together early in the new term so that deadlines are met and places are secured.
