Year 7 Pastoral Achievement Assembly November 2014

On Monday 17 November 2014 there was a special assembly to celebrate our Year 7 pupils 'living the St. Mary's values'.

In order to celebrate the excellent conduct within and outside lessons, we held our first ‘Achievement Assembly’ in November. Students were awarded with ‘Pastoral achievement awards’: ten having attained the highest number of positive behaviour points and another ten chosen for the way in which they uphold the ‘St. Mary’s values’. Mr Beardsley also presented the first of a special Headteacher’s award for outstanding contribution to the year group.

“It was lovely to have such a celebration of talent - not just of the individuals who received awards, but of the positive contributions of the whole year group. These awards will be presented again during the year – so who knows who will win next time!”
— Mrs R Burrows, Student Progress Leader, Year 7
