Sixth Form Fancy Dress Day Advent 2014

Fun Event raises £815.51 for our Advent Appeal

Sixth Form Fancy Dress Day Advent 2014

“Once again Sixth Form students dug deep into their pockets to support the school’s charities for the privilege of coming into school in fancy dress. Tribute was paid to a number of Hollywood favourites with some magical Hogwarts and ex-cellent Wayne’s World outfits (as well as some clownish carry-on) by members of staff, while interval sweeties were catered for by a team of (male) usherettes. The animal and fairy kingdoms were well-represented (including elves, a lion and a walrus), and sundry Mexicans and musketeers added a truly international dimension to what might otherwise have been mistaken for Little Britain (complete with wheelchair - a challenge for the building’s many steps)! Black Friday turned up in person as a reminder of seasonal excess while both the sun and the moon put in an appearance. So far the day has raised £814.51 - a big thank you to everyone for a splendid effort!”
