Sam Clifford-Hassan Musical Achievement November 2015

Best Musician Award at Army Cadet Camp

Flute: Sam Clifford-Hassan with his Best Musician award

Flute: Sam Clifford-Hassan with his Best Musician award

Congratulations to Sam Clifford-Hassan 9W who during the half term holiday attended a week long Army cadet music camp in Hampshire, along with 350 other cadets from all over the country.  Playing the flute, Sam was placed in the senior camp, playing various genres of music from military to musicals and jazz, playing at parades and concerts throughout the week.

At the end of the week, Sam was presented with the award for Best Musician in the senior band. This is a wonderful achievement, especially taking into account that Sam was the youngest member of the band.  Many congratulations!

Hopefully, you will soon be able to see an A2 poster of the above photograph on our Musical Achievement 'wall of fame' display in the corridor near H2 and H3 that celebrates our pupils' musical achievements. Look forward to it!
