As well as receiving free training on international work, schools who choose to sign up will also receive £500 worth of CPD, tools and guidance to develop global learning in their school and a logo for their school website and letterheads.
Four St. Mary’s students were lucky enough to be a part of the Fairtrade Celebration Event which was held in the Banqueting Suite of Leeds Civic Hall on 9 March
We are delighted to announce that St. Mary’s has been awarded the British Council International School Award in recognition of our work bringing the world into the classroom.
Students came in their own clothes on Wednesday 29 June 2016 and the event benefited The Bambisanani Partnership and World Youth Day charities.
We have given much of the produce away as prizes for Fairtrade Fortnight 2016 activities.
The event will take place in our Staffroom and will raise money to help Simphiwe Ndlovu, our Bambisanani Teacher
