World Challenge Expedition Nepal 2016

Nepal World Challenge 2016

26 pupils and 4 staff travelled to Nepal during the summer on a four week World Challenge expedition.

Split into two teams, they undertook a two week trek around Annapurna, the tenth highest mountain in the world. They also spent a week at a primary school, helping with maintenance work in a community deeply affected by last year's earthquake. The students had many opportunities to share in the culture of local people and explored locations such as Buddhist temples, animal sanctuaries and the Chitwan National park.

Plans are already underway for the next World Challenge Expedition to Costa Rica and Nicaragua which will take place in 2018.
