Matthew’s wish is granted by leading charity
Matthew Bradley, Year 10, was recently nominated by the nurses on the surgical ward at the Great Northern Children's Hospital in Newcastle for "Make-a-Wish" due to a string of complications following surgery last summer. Make-A-Wish is a leading charity and was formed to grant wishes to seriously ill children in the UK.
Matthew’s wish was granted last week when he and his family visited London to meet his favourite YouTubers Dan and Phil. Matthew wants to be a pilot when he finishes his education so the “Make-a-Wish” foundation arranged for him to have a flight simulator experience at the Emirates Aviation Experience next to the O2. Matthew spent the afternoon teaching Dan and Phil how to fly which was an incredible experience and one he will never forget! He also took a cable car across the Thames, rode the London Eye and was given a tour of London's Christmas lights in a limo!
