Exceptional GSCE Results in 2026

 Students at St Mary’s Menston were celebrating today as they received the strongest GCSE and vocational results ever achieved by the school. The results reflect another year of impressive success, combining exceptional academic performance with inspiring stories of perseverance, resilience and personal achievement.

Headteacher, Margaret Hattersley, said;

"We are incredibly proud of this cohort and all they have accomplished. Their examination success reflects both their dedication and determination, while their personal growth over the past five years has been equally impressive. As they look towards the future with confidence and ambition, we are delighted that so many will continue their education with us in the Sixth Form."

 
At St Mary’s Menston, the dignity and potential of every young person are at the heart of everything we do and we take great pride in seeing our students flourish both academically and personally. We are immensely proud of the resilience, determination and perseverance shown by this cohort, and of the progress they have made throughout their five-year journey with us. It is particularly rewarding to see these young people now equipped to make positive choices about their futures with confidence, optimism and self-belief.
