Year 10 Trip to Germany
Last week, 36 Year 10 students visited Germany, exploring the cities of Cologne and Aachen, as well as the beautiful Rhine Valley. They were a credit to the school, and all participated fully in the activities, immersing themselves in the language and culture.
A big thank you to Mrs Beesting, Miss Mason, Miss Wellham and Dr Driscoll for supporting/caring for our students during their visit. During their visit to Cologne and Aachen I received a wonderful email from a member of the public, which I have shared with you below:
Dear Miss Hattersley, we enjoyed sharing a trip on a ship on the Rhine today with a group of students from your school. We were impressed by them and send you our compliments. I am sure you are proud of them and hope you will pass on our good wishes to them and to the staff in whose capable hands they were.
I was so pleased to receive the email. Well done Year 10. We are of course incredibly proud of you all.
