Level 3 Teaching Assistant - 2 Posts

Permanent, 30 hours per week, term time only plus 2 additional days.  NJC Salary Scale C1 - Actual Salary £14,325 - £15,710

Required immediately, the Governors are looking to appoint two Level 3 Teaching Assistants to plan, implement and deliver learning activites to aid the education, personal and social development of pupils with additional needs.  The successful candidates will work with individuals to support and provide intervention which will raise attainment and promote independence.  Experience of working with children in an educational setting and with additional needs is essential.

Excellent comminication skills, the ability to work constructively as part of a team with a calm and positive outlook is essential to the role.

Level 1 Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term until 31 August 2019, 28 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 2 additional training days.

Salary NJC Scale:  A1/B1, £16,394 - £18,672.  (actual salary £10,699 - £11,847 per annum)

Required immediately, the Governors are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in their learning, both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis.  Duties will include supporting pupils with barriers to learning, establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.  Previous experience of working with pupils with emotional/behavioural needs or communication difficulties is desirable but not essential.

You will be an excellent communicator with effective and efficient organisation skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.  Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
