General Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term until 31 August 2019, 28 hours per week term time only plus 2 additional days.  NJC Salary Scale A1/B1 Point 10, £10,699 - £11,847.

Required to start January 2019; the Governors are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in their learning both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis. Duties will include supporting pupils with barriers to their learning, establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.

ICT Technician

Full time and permanent, 37 hours per week all year round.  NJC Salary Scale C1, Point 22 £21,074 - £23,111

Required as soon as possible, the Academy Council seek to appoint an ICT Technician to assist the ICT Manager in the management and development of the school’s ICT systems, promoting high quality teaching and learning and effective administrative functions.  Applicants must have experience of fault finding and testing, be self-motivated and pro-active and the ability to communicate with staff and students.

  • Closing date: Thursday 13 December 2018, 12 noon

  • It is anticipated that interviews will take place the same week
